Trump wants CNN to be dismantled and Sold

Why is the President of the United States discussing what should happen to a Private (or supposedly Private) Organization? Does the US Government have stake in CNN? Even if CNN is a lousy news organization, which it is, why is it the business of the President of the United States to decide what should be done with it? Is this North Korea where the Government controls the propaganda in the media? Even if CNN is NOT favorable to him, he has no right to do anything to them. For him to be discussing this should alarm everyone. If we're going to have Administrations threaten to go after News Outlets that post opinion pieces that are unfavorable to the Administration, we're going to end up in a situation like North Korea or China or the old Soviet Union, where the media does nothing but kiss the ass of the leader. Do we really want a country like that? This should concern Conservatives and Liberals and anyone who wants the Constitution of this country to be upheld by this crooked federal government we have.
